Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance- This is the national organization that gave birth to Hopeworks. On its website you will find an incredible amount of information of virtually every kind. It is very user friendly and ought to be one of the first places you look.
Nami- Nami is another national organiztion that offers an immense amount of helpful information. Any description of it sells it short. Check it out for yourself.
Bipolarhappens. This is a website set up by Julie Fast. She offers a free newsletter that is well worth signing up for. A lot of practical information based not just on knowledge but on personal experience is yours for the asking.
Bipolar Blog. This is the website of Dr. Candida Fink who wrote Bipolar for Dummies. It is a great site. They have a link to Hopeworks on it. They have also posted some of the material we have written.

Mental Health Ministeries- This is a website devoted to the idea of decreasing the stigma of mental illness in the church. This is an excellent source of materials and other information.
Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (TSPN) Suicide is a major issue with bipolar disorder. This organization is in the forefront of dealing with this issue in Tennessee.
SPANUSA (Suicide prevention action network of the United States) This is a national organization that has been very influential in advocating for public policy that helps to develop resources to decrease suicide in this country. It is well worth checking out.
Tennessee Health Care Campaign- This is an organization that for many years has been an effective and active advocate for better health care for all Tennesseans. For people with mental health diagnosis getting access to needed care is such a difficult issue. Tennessee Health Care is an essential organization for you to be familiar with.
